In the conference „Recent
issues regarding private and institutional European Law” that took place on
June, 5, at the Law Faculty, Bucharest University, Constantin Stoicescu Hall,
participated more than 100 persons, especially magistrates, legal counsels from
foreign or Romanian companies and from public institutions, professors, and
other persons interested in recent issues in connection with the application of
the European law in Romania.
The
invited guests, reputed foreign and Romanian specialists in European law have
done, among other things, an analysis of the relation between national law and
the European law, and a presentation of the procedure regarding the request (or
reference) for a preliminary ruling.
The
discussions from the conference were opened by Conf. Univ. dr.
Flavius-Antoniu Baias, Dean of the Law Faculty, Bucharest University and by
Michel Roy, representative of the Embassy of France in Romania.The
conference was moderated by Prof. Univ. Dr. Valeriu Stoica, Founding Partner
STOICA & Asociaţii.
