STOICA & Asociaţii celebrated 19 years since its establishment by organizing a reception hosted in the Ballroom „Le Diplomat” of Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel which was attended, besides all team members, by other 200 guests - clients, fellow-lawyers, professors, journalists, diplomats and cultural personalities.
STOICA & Asociaţii granted the „Excellence award for the entire legal carrier” to Univ. Prof. Stanciu D. Cărpenaru, Ph.D. from the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University, for his brilliant professorship and talent to pass down to the youngest generation of students the passion for private law and values like exactingness, modesty and correctness.
„The sponsorship award for the encouragement of the cultural and art activity” went to the young fashion designer, Alina Mărgulescu, for the ingenious solutions found for the garments she designed, solutions which are meant to endow the costume with a cultural and spiritual touch.
Throughout the years, STOICA & Asociaţii granted more than 10 awards and sponsorships to different cultural and legal personalities. “In a world that seems to have forgotten its authentic values, our law firm promotes every year the legal professionals and outstanding artists, in order not only to reward them for their work, but to foster their development”, declared Valeriu Stoica, Founding Partner STOICA & Asociații.

Conclusions of the conference „Recent issues regarding private and institutional European Law”
The invited guests, reputed foreign and Romanian specialists in European law have done, among other things, an analysis of the relation between national law and the European law, and a presentation of the procedure regarding the request (or reference) for a preliminary ruling.
The discussions from the conference were opened by Conf. Univ. dr. Flavius-Antoniu Baias, Dean of the Law Faculty, Bucharest University and by Michel Roy, representative of the Embassy of France in Romania.The conference was moderated by Prof. Univ. Dr. Valeriu Stoica, Founding Partner STOICA & Asociaţii.
