Marieta Avram

Marieta Avram started her career as lawyer, than judge at the Bucharest Court of Appeal, chairman of studies department at the Supreme Court of Justice of Romania and director of the legal department of Banca Română de Dezvoltare - Groupe Societe Generale.

Marieta Avram enjoys a significant experience in the activity of the central administration, in academic and legislative projects that positively influenced her carrier as lawyer. She acquired an important experience in the domain of elaboration of laws, especially in the financial banking sector and was a member in the commission for the elaboration of the new Civil Code.

Marieta Avram is of counsel of the law firm STOICA & Asociaţii from2008 and she contributes to the consolidation of the professional experience of the law firm in the consultancy activity, as well as in assisting and representing the clients in commercial or civil litigations. She is a senior partner and coordinates projects in connection with financing, banks and insurances, activities of consultancy in telecommunications, projects of concessions and public acquisitions, litigations related to civil liability in tort or contractual liability, litigations of private international law.
